Who we are

A common roof for the people of Konya

The International Konyalılar Confederation is an İzmir-based international civil society organisation that brings together the associations, federations and foundations founded by people from Konya in Türkiye and abroad.

Founded in Beyşehir in 2022 by associations and foundations from 10 provinces, the confederation is now international and is also represented in the Balkans. We carry Konya’s culture, Rumi’s spirit of tolerance and the solidarity of its people from İzmir to Türkiye, the Balkans and the wider world.

From our President

Mehmet AydoğanPresident · International Konyalılar Confederation

The voice of a single association, foundation or federation is often not heard enough. That is why we brought associations, foundations, federations and platforms together in İzmir, and why we are now growing that experience under the International Konyalılar Confederation.
