Organic contract farming project in Kosovo

As a Federation, because of the bond of the heart and therefore the responsibility we feel towards all our kin across the water in the lands of our hearts, whom we have never seen as different or set apart, we are in Kosovo, the legacy of our ancestors. We are here to support, contribute to and join forces with the international social project “ORGANIC CONTRACT FARMING”, which aims to increase the welfare of women living in Kosovo through positive discrimination and priority employment, and to act together from now on. The project is the result of many years of professional work in the region by Vice President Mustafa Ulu, whom Mehmet Aydoğan, President of the Federation of Konyalılar Associations, assigned to Kosovo ten years ago as part of the groundwork for his special project for the development of the region and its people, together with Elizabet Aslani, President of the Kosovo Women’s Association, and her team.

We sincerely believe that our very productive official contacts and meetings with the regional Minister of Agriculture, mayors and the relevant officials will, in time, lead the development of the region and set an example for the whole area. We congratulate everyone who contributed to preparing such an international project, which is deeply meaningful for us both for the employment of its target group and for the region it serves, and we wish it every success.
