Invitation to the Holy Birth Week programme

Under the leadership of our İzmir Provincial Mufti’s Office, together with our Provincial Directorate of Associations, we civil society organisations, as the Konyalılar Federation and as a pioneer among İzmir’s civil society organisations, are gathering at the Konak Mosque on Monday 11 April 2016 at 13:30 for the Holy Birth Week programme of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him), the sun of both worlds and the beloved of the beloved. We do so with the peace and happiness given to us by the Night of Power event held for the first time in Konak Clock Tower Square with the support of other civil society organisations and the great interest and participation of our people, following the Regaip Kandil, which heralds the three holy months and Ramadan, the month of mercy and abundance and the sultan of the eleven months. We invite everyone, above all our esteemed fellow townspeople from Konya, as well as the Aegean Region and especially all the people of İzmir. At our event, which begins with the noon prayer at 13:30 and is held together with the Provincial Mufti’s Office, lokma will be served for the blessed soul of our Prophet. There will be a whirling dervish performance followed by the distribution of books, cards and roses. There will also be balloons and children’s books as gifts for our little ones. We will be happy to see you with us. With love and respect, the Federation of Konyalılar Associations
