A major gathering of Konya-born business people in İzmir

Under KONFED’s leadership, civil society organisations (NGOs), industrialists and business people from İstanbul and Konya came together in İzmir to support the Konya Building and Construction Fair, to be held for the thirteenth time on 26 May this year.

At the meeting held after a joint breakfast, NGO presidents, industrialists and business people from İstanbul, Konya and İzmir decided to join hands as one heart. The breakfast, held under KONFED’s leadership, was attended by KONFED President Mehmet Aydoğan, Konya Chamber of Commerce Acting President Ramazan Erkuş, Kemal Çelik, President of TİMFED and Unicera Fair Organisation, the TİMFED board, Tüyap Fairs regional managers, NGO presidents and many business people.

At the meeting, opened with a speech by KONFED President Mehmet Aydoğan, the guests who took the floor introduced themselves and their companies and together laid the foundations of the bridge built between İstanbul, Konya and İzmir. At the end of the meeting, KONFED President Mehmet Aydoğan presented plaques to Kemal Çelik and Ramazan Erkuş with messages of unity and togetherness.

After the meeting, we hosted our guests from İstanbul and Konya at KONFED headquarters. In the warm atmosphere, we listened to the problems of our fellow townspeople from Konya living in İzmir and offered solutions. Foundations were laid for KONFED to help our country keep moving forward and for the better.
