Our Friday gatherings: violence against women, health and livestock

At this Friday’s gathering we were joined by Ms Havva Işık, former Vice Chair of the Women’s Branch of what was then the Konyalılar Association and now principal of the Vocational School of Health, and Mr Can Atak, one of İzmir’s leading cattle, sheep and goat farmers, who generously shared their knowledge of current issues and problems with us. Our esteemed fellow townspeople were briefed on violence against women, innovations and developments in the health sector, cattle, sheep and goat farming, and the production of milk and dairy products. We thank Ms Havva and Mr Can for sharing their valuable knowledge and experience with us.
